What's the difference of Tencel, lyocell,Modal

TENCEL™ brand Lyocell fiber and TENCEL™ brand Modal fiber are cellulosic fibers, sourced from sustainable wood sources and manufactured using highly sustainable production processes. TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are skin-friendly, smooth to the touch, more breathable, and have vibrant and stable colors; TENCEL™ Modal fibers are long-lasting, soft, breathable, low-static, and color-stable; both TENCEL™ Lyocell and TENCEL™ Modal fibers can be blended with a variety of textile fibers to enhance the aesthetic effect and functionality of the fabric .

The fiber materials used in TENCEL™ brands are certified and controlled, adhering to the strict guidelines of the Lenzing Group's Wood and Wood Pulp Policy. All TENCEL™ Standard Lyocell and Standard Modal grades are certified as biodegradable and compostable in industrial, domestic, soil and marine environments, and can therefore be fully returned to nature, and both TENCEL™ Lyocell and TENCEL™ Modal are USDA BioPreferred® Program designated products.
